The Society's Council of Bishops has agreed that:
1. The College of St Philip the Deacon should be established for distinctive deacons and prospective distinctive deacons who come under the umbrella of The Society.
2. The Bishop of Oswestry should be the lead Society bishop for this new initiative.
3. An initial meeting should take place in the late autumn of 2025, led by the Bishop of Oswestry, for those distinctive deacons and prospective distinctive deacons to discuss and shape the role and future activities of the College.
Further details will be posted after that meeting has taken place in the late autumn of 2025.
